GENTLE BEANS® is a company that makes bean flour from beans that have been naturally optimized to be high in protein, fiber and minerals, and easy to digest.

How is GENTLE BEANS® flour made?

GENTLE BEANS® uses all-natural, organic beans and a scientifically proven process to extract anti-nutrients and flatulence-causing components to free the nutrients (protein, slow-releasing carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins) to be bio-available to you.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour allergen free?

Yes, GENTLE BEANS® products are free from all the major allergens; gluten, soy, egg, dairy, nuts, and corn.  (There are a very small number of people in the world allergic to bean proteins, our products do, of course, contain those proteins.)

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour vegan?

Yes, our flour is 100% plant-based.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour recommended for babies and children?

Yes.  GENTLE BEANS® flour has been made to be gentle enough for when babies starting around 6 months old when they start to have solid food.  GENTLE BEANS® flour is a good protein source and free from allergies, thus an ideal food for babies and children.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour organic?

GENTLE BEANS® flour is made with beans that are certified organic.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour high in Fiber?

Yes, it contains 20g of fiber per 100g, which is 80% of the daily value for adults.  Fiber promotes digestive health and lowers the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour cholesterol free?

Yes, GENTLE BEANS® flour is completely cholesterol free.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour a good source of protein?

Yes, our flour contains 24g of protein per 100g, which is 47% of the Daily Value for adults. Our products are not only high in protein, but the protein is a more easily digestible protein due to our special process.

Is GENTLE BEANS® flour non-GMO, MSG, trans fat and preservative free?

Yes, GENTLE BEANS® flour is non-GMO, MSG, preservative and trans fat free.

Does GENTLE BEANS® flour smell or taste like raw beans?

No. As part of the optimization process of our beans, we have almost completely removed this flavor/smell component in the beans.  GENTLE BEANS® flour is mild in flavor and neutral in color.

Can GENTLE BEANS® flour also be used in food for animals?

Yes, Our GENTLE BEANS® flour can be incorporated as an ingredient in pet food/animal feed. Raw beans/peas can be difficult for animals to digest but our beans are not only easy to digest, but high in easily digestible protein, fiber, and minerals.
